Dermot Geoghegan is the Principal and Managing Director of
Dermot F Geoghegan Architects Ltd, having founded the
company in 2001 following senior positions within
architectural practices in Ireland, and a long spell with
various companies in the UK, where Dermot had also
completed post-graduate studies in architecture.
Dermot has gained a broad range of experience within the
architectural profession over the years and has maintained
a particular interest in urban design, playing an active
role in many collaborative efforts in this area.
Sustainability and energy conservation issues are also of
major interest to Dermot, having completed a Masters
degree in this area in 1992. Resultantly the sensible
exploration and incorporation of key sustainable design
principles is fundamental to the practice’s design ethos.
